🥖 Handmade baked goods, we will bring fresh baked goods for breakfast every day, but how about making bread baked on a fire with a small iron pan?
Bonfire bread
The recipe makes about twelve small loaves.
1 dl milk
10 g yeast (preferably dry yeast if you're on a trip)
1 dl water
1/2 tbsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
approx. 300 g wheat flour or spelled flour1 dl m
Heat the milk a little. Stir in the yeast. Add water, baking soda, salt, oil and flour.
Knead the dough and let it rise for two hours.
Divide the dough into twelve pieces and roll them out to about half a centimeter thickness.
Bake the loaves on a hot, dry pan for two to three minutes on each side.
You can eat the loaves immediately or hide them in a towel for later in the day. If you are eating them later, heat them in a pan.

Skallelv is a small village with 16 permanent residents. The village is between two towns, Vardø (40 km) and Vadsø (30 km). Daily bus departures between the cities. Bus company Snelandia, yellow buses.
